It looks like Ashley Greene is having the last laugh. The Twilight star who now has a modeling contract with DKNY originally wanted to be a model but couldn’t get a big break. “I knew I was never going to be a supermodel,” Greene told Nylon magazine for the cover story of their August issue. “I mean, I’m 5’5. It’s not going to happen unless you’re Kate Moss, which I’m not. And until you hit a certain level in the modeling world, it’s really rough: You’re never tall enough, you’re never thin enough, there’s always another girl. It just wasn’t for me anymore.” Greene then found her love of acting and — go figure — the modeling gigs then followed, as well as countless magazine covers.
Ashley is wearing a vintage Moschino blazer, a What Goes Around Come Around t-shirt and Element shorts on the cover of Nylon for the magazine’s denim issue.
